Life is too short not to eat the damn cake! Way too often we think that we can't have any sweet treats if we are "dieting." It's like "oh, I can't have that, it's got too many calories." One slice of cake is not going to derail healthy eating plan -- and if it does, it's not a healthy eating plan.
My approach is to eat a slice of cake when a really good slice of cake comes into my life. A real slice, not a slice so skinny it's see through that's just going to piss me off.
Enjoying and indulging in cake on occasion is an ok thing. Eat the Damn Cake!
